Protaras, Cyprus. A 34-year-old man, reportedly the owner of a nightclub, was shot at multiple times early Saturday morning in Protaras, with no injuries reported.
Shooting on Protaras Avenue
Police said the incident occurred shortly after midnight while the man was driving on Protaras Avenue near Kavo Greko, when he was targeted by several gunshots.
Suspects flee and car found burning
The suspected perpetrators allegedly entered a vehicle and fled the scene. Around 30 minutes later, a car that had been left behind was discovered engulfed in flames on the Ayia Napa-Rizoelia road, within the British bases. The car is suspected to be connected to the case.
