Larnaca, Cyprus. Cyprus police drug squad Ykan said nine people were arrested on Saturday in a coordinated operation in Larnaca that resulted in the seizure of drugs, firearms, cash and vehicles.

Police said 27 Ykan officers took part in the operation.
Searches and seizures
According to police, houses, premises and vehicles were searched. Items seized included about 400 grams of cocaine, about 150 grams of cannabis, precision scales, ten mobile phones, a pistol with a silencer, a firearm, €9,605, and three vehicles.
Ongoing investigations
Police said Ykan Larnaca examinations are continuing and that a financial investigation will also be carried out in relation to what was confiscated during the operation.
