Osadchiy declines Russia’s involvement in the negotiations concerning Cyprus

The Ambassador of Russia to Cyprus Mr. Stanislav Osdachiy, in his interview, said that all allegation about Russia’s involvement in the matters concerning the resolution of the Cyprus problem are false.

“All speculations about the Russia’s role in the negotiation process are lies and do not tolerate any criticism”. The Russia’s position on Cyprus remains the same for decades and, contrary to the policies of other countries, does not contain any opportunistic changes or variations. All of the foreign attempts to force the resolution of the Cyprus problem are detrimental to Cypriots.

In the end, the Ambassador added that he believes that Cypriots will address to the historical facts and will make the right choice.
