Overnight fires destroy house in Yeri and car in Peristerona, police investigations ongoing

Nicosia, Cyprus. Two fires were reported overnight, destroying a house in Yeri and a car in Peristerona. Police said investigations into both incidents are ongoing.

Fire in Yeri house

Police were notified around midnight of a fire at a house in Yeri, which is the property of a 33-year-old man. The house was totally destroyed in the fire.

Fire in Peristerona car

Around 1.40am, a fire was reported in a car in Peristerona. The car, belonging to a 35-year-old woman, was also totally destroyed.
