Pakistan says four-nation talks explored ending Middle East war and de-escalating U.S.-Iran conflict

Islamabad, Pakistan. Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt discussed possible ways to bring an early and permanent end to the war in the Middle East, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said on Sunday.


Joint talks in Islamabad

Dar said the four nations held joint talks in Islamabad to seek a de-escalation in the U.S.-Iran war.

Pakistan’s role and China’s position

In a video-recorded statement, Dar said all sides had expressed confidence in Pakistan’s facilitation and that China fully supports the initiative to host potential U.S.-Iran talks in Islamabad.
