Paphos, Cyprus. The Paphos district court on Wednesday remanded four people, aged 16, 24, 25 and 30, in custody for five days following their arrest in connection with a series of burglaries and thefts.

Police said the four were arrested after a search of a residence in Paphos carried out under a court warrant.
Items found during search
Officers said they found a crystalline substance resembling methamphetamine weighing 0.2 grams on the 25-year-old suspect, along with burglary tools.
Household appliances including light fixtures, a stove, a television and a video camera were also seized.
Links to reported thefts
Police said some of the items were confirmed to have been stolen from a house on March 29 and from an apartment building under construction between March 28 and 30.
