Paphos, Cyprus. Paphos police said they found a 36kg cannabis stash in a dried river bed on the Akamas coast after an operation conducted with the drugs squad Ykan.
Operation and seizure
Police said the drugs were located after they followed a tip-off received on February 25. The cannabis was found in a sealed plastic package and was seized by Ykan.
Contents of the package
Police said the package contained 27 smaller packets, each containing five pieces of cannabis resin, with a total weight of 36kg.
Search of the area
Police said they carried out a thorough search of the area where the drugs were spotted but found nothing further.
