Paralimni, Cyprus. The municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia said on Saturday that live cameras and meteorological stations will be installed at organised beaches to upgrade services for beachgoers.
Real-time beach information
The municipality said the new application will allow bathers and visitors to view live images of each beach remotely and receive information on weather conditions, water temperature, and other useful details to help plan their excursion.
Blue Flag recognition
The municipality said it had recently been awarded 18 Blue Flags for its beaches, the highest number received by any municipality on the island.
