Nicosia, Cyprus. The Cyprus Hotel Managers Association (Pasydixe) on Monday urged the hotel industry to remain calm and show restraint as international developments continue to unfold. The association called on the sector to act responsibly until conditions stabilise.
Call for restraint and responsibility
In a statement, Pasydixe said such periods usually bring short-term turbulence, largely driven by intense international news coverage and the initial reaction of markets. It added that, over time, the picture becomes clearer and balance is restored.
Maintaining normal operations and readiness
Pasydixe said the current situation requires responsibility, sound judgment and professional composure. It added that activity should continue as normally as possible and the sector should remain ready for a swift return to full normality.
Monitoring developments and supporting confidence
The association said it was closely monitoring developments and called on the industry’s leadership to act with prudence and responsibility. It also urged efforts to help maintain confidence in Cyprus as a destination.
