Limassol municipality said the closure began last Friday, with works focused on linking the new Yermasoyia water reservoir pipeline to an existing water supply network running beneath the road.
Reason for full closure
The municipality said the complete closure is necessary because the pipeline connection is located in the opposite traffic lane, making partial access unsafe during construction.
Traffic advisory
Drivers have been advised to use alternative routes while works are underway, with the affected section marked on site.
