The Cyprus Animal Protection society warns all owners that pets require special attention during the summer period.
In their publication, the society reminds that human are responsible for the wellbeing of their furry friends:
- It is crucial for a pet to have adequate supply of fresh water during the hot period.
- People must make the necessary precautions and plan ahead if they are planning to go on vacation and a pet will be left alone.
- The best time for walks are the early mornings and late evenings.
- It is best to avoid crowded beaches during walks.
