Limassol, Cyprus. Police arrested a 28-year-old in connection with a January 25 fire at a car showroom in Limassol. All seven luxury cars in the showroom were damaged, and the building also sustained damage.
Damage assessment
Two cars belonging to different owners were totally destroyed, with damage estimated at €60,000 and €120,000. The remaining vehicles in the showroom were also damaged in the blaze.
Investigation findings
Police said their investigations indicated that the perpetrators broke the showroom’s front window, drenched the cars in petrol, set them on fire and fled the scene.
