Nicosia, Cyprus. Police on Sunday escorted a couple and their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter to Nicosia General Hospital after the child fell and hit her head. The girl was examined and found to be in good health, and was admitted as a precaution.
Emergency call and police escort
Police received a call from the father just after 1pm on Sunday requesting help to safely take the toddler to hospital. The family were already on the way when they contacted police.
Z squad response
Members of Z squad located the couple in the Anthoupolis area of Nicosia and escorted them to the hospital.
Hospital assessment
The toddler was examined at Nicosia General Hospital and found to be in good health. She was admitted to hospital as a precaution.
