Police found Syrian refugees in Nicosia and Paphos

Police and other public services met 24 new Syrian refugees on the Arnaoutis peninsula (Paphos) in order to provide them with necessary help.

Later, it was also established that additional 8 men, 11 children and 10 women got off the boat. Possibly, these migrants arrived to Cyprus from Turkey.

Earlier 13 more Syrians were found in Nicosia, who are suspected in crossing the border from the North. AMong them are two individuals, who are banned from entering the Republic due to past attempts of illegal entry. The remaining 11 will be relocated to the refugee help centre, which is located near the capital.
