Ayia Napa, Cyprus. Police are investigating the assault and robbery of a 23-year-old man who was attacked while walking in the resort town in the early hours of Friday.
The victim was treated at Famagusta general hospital and discharged after receiving first aid.
Incident under investigation
The incident occurred at about 4am when two unidentified men reportedly approached and assaulted the man.
The attackers immobilised him, stole his bag and €430 in cash, and fled the scene.
Police inquiry
Famagusta CID is continuing its investigation into the case.
