Limassol, Cyprus. Police said on Thursday they are investigating a suspected arson case after a car was set on fire on Wednesday night. The vehicle was parked outside the home of a 45-year-old woman and was regularly used by her 21-year-old son.


Fire reported and damage assessed

Fire brigade spokesman Andreas Kettis said the fire brigade was informed at around 9pm. He said the car suffered extensive damage, and a second car parked nearby was also damaged.

Police said their investigation found the fire was started maliciously using flammable material. Investigations are ongoing.
