Nicosia, Cyprus. Police said on Wednesday that 60 convictions were recorded in child sexual abuse cases in 2025. They said the cases followed detailed investigations by the unit for the management of vulnerable people (Ydyep).

Authorities said tackling child abuse requires collective responsibility and added that efforts will continue to ensure cases are fully investigated and brought to justice.
