For the next three months the ship will conduct a three-meter seismic survey in the exclusive economic zone of Cyprus. Government authorities have recommended other vessels to maintain a safe distance of 10 nautical miles from the research ship.
Ramform Hyperion was released in March 2017. On Sunday, the vessel arrived at the port of Limassol immediately after the tests carried in Singapore.
The ship belongs to the Titan class vessels and is fully equipped to use the latest GeoStreamer technology.
