Russian strikes kill two and injure six in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk Region

Dnipro, Ukraine. Russian strikes on Ukraine’s southeastern Dnipropetrovsk Region killed two people and injured six on Friday, regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha said.

Attacks across five districts

Hanzha said on Telegram that Russian forces carried out nearly 50 attacks in five districts of the region, using drones, artillery and aerial bombs.

Casualties near Nikopol

The two deaths were reported near Nikopol, on the western bank of the Dnipro River opposite the Russian-held Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

One of the six people injured was in a serious condition, Hanzha said.
