Cтадион Антониса Пападопулоса

The witnesses have reported that after the football game in Larnaca, dozens of angry fans went out on the streets adjacent to the Antonis Papadopoulos stadium and committed acts of vandalism. The vicious fans were throwing plastic chairs around and damaged a car, which was parked nearby. Most likely, they were upset with the defeat of their team- FC Anorthosis.

Police tried to stop the crowds with the use of the tear gas. Four police officers sustained minor injuries. Six fans were arrested.

Later, four other fans of the Famagusta‘s club reported attacks by the fans of APOEL. Two of them have sustained significant injuries and were sent to the Larnaca hospital for  treatment.
