Девочки

The pupils with impaired vision in the government schools were left without specialised books. The Association of parents of children with impaired vision expressed its concern with the current situation and demands from the Ministry of Education the books, which they were promised from Year 1 and onwards.

The President of the Association Mr. Christos Avgoustinos announced that during this academic year, it is evident that the new books will not be published. The situation could’ve be ameliorated wit the use of digital books and then parent would’ve been able to print the necessary material for their kids themselves.

In turn, the Ministry of Education stated that delays can be expected, however the government makes every effort to purchase electronic books as soon as possible.
