The Union of primary school teachers POED has threatened to go on strike if the Ministry of Education will not make any steps to resolve the existing problems in the public schools.
The teachers are stating that many children are experiencing difficulties learning Greek and Math and therefore they require additional help. Also teachers are urging to improve the discipline control.
Moreover, the union requests from the ministry to make the necessary conditions for the adequate support of children with special needs.
