The residents of the Kalo Chorio and other neighboring communities, which surround the Kalo Chorio Range demand to immediately shut down the range. The protesters demand to meet with the Minister of Defence in order to resolve the problem once and for all.
According to the president of the Kalo Chorio community – Mr. Kipriakos Anzoulis, the range, which is 500 metres away from the residential building is working every weekday and it causes harm to the health and safety of the local residents.
Mr.Anzoulis also added that the “community must take active steps, because the authorities have ignored the requests of the locals”.
