Cyprus will be represented at the final stage of the international space program Nasa Challenge by 3 teams – GalaxyCY, AGreenSpace and Nestfold.
Participants presented their innovative ideas related to the use of satellites to detect wild fires, calculate the location of mobile shelters in natural disasters and the optimal location of Martian settlements.
The leaders were chosen during the competition organized by Cyprus Technological University in Limassol. Now the winners will represent Cyprus internationally.
An international 2-day contest was organized in 160 cities around the world to help finding new ideas and solution for space exploration.
