Top App Games says LUDUS surpasses 10 million downloads as it launches Divisions feature

Nicosia, Cyprus. Cyprus-based mobile game developer Top App Games said its flagship title LUDUS has surpassed 10 million downloads worldwide and introduced a new in-game feature called Divisions.

Download milestone and business performance

Top App Games, which operates under Utmost Games, said the 10 million downloads mark a milestone for the company and Cyprus’ gaming sector.
The company reported that LUDUS recorded a 74.6 per cent year-on-year increase in revenue.

Market expansion

The company said LUDUS has expanded into new markets, including Southeast Asia, citing its recent launch in Vietnam.

Divisions feature replaces Leagues

Divisions, introduced in March, replaces the previous Leagues system and introduces a seasonal competitive format aimed at increasing player engagement.
Under the system, players are grouped into clusters of more than 20 competitors to compete for rankings, advance to higher tiers and earn exclusive rewards.

Promotion, retention and demotion rules

At the end of each event cycle, the top five players are promoted to higher Divisions, while players ranked between sixth and fifteenth retain their current tier.
Lower-ranked players are demoted unless they meet a minimum threshold referred to as Subsistence Might.

Competitive mechanics

The feature introduces gameplay mechanics that allow players to challenge rivals using Attack Coupons and raid statues to siphon rating points.
Players can recover lost rating through a one-time Payback attack, the company said.

How do you expect the Divisions system to change your competitive play in LUDUS?
