Larnaca, Cyprus. Police said on Tuesday they arrested two further suspects, aged 17 and 18, in connection with a weekend burglary in the Larnaca district in which two guns, cash and a safe were stolen.
Arrests and court proceedings
Police said the latest arrests followed the issuance of warrants as part of an ongoing investigation. Another 17-year-old was initially arrested on Sunday and was brought before Larnaca District Court, which remanded him in custody for seven days. The two additional suspects were arrested on Monday.
Burglary and recovery of items
Police said the burglary was committed during the night on Saturday at the home of a 46-year-old man. They later located the two firearms and the safe containing €72,950 in an area of the Larnaca district.
