Limassol, Cyprus. Unplugged Cyprus will host its first Unplugged Sunset Social at Dasoudi Beach on Friday, July 31, inviting participants to put away their phones and take part in conversations, games and shared activities.
The free event, held in collaboration with the European-funded project OASIS, will run from 7pm to 10pm. Registration is required through an online form or by contacting Unplugged Cyprus.
Offline gathering
Organisers said the event is intended to provide a space for people to meet without screens or technology, focusing instead on conversation, food and icebreaker games.
Participants are asked to bring a beach towel or picnic blanket, snacks, drinks and an open mind, while leaving their phones in their bags.
Open to individuals and groups
The gathering is open to people attending alone or with friends. Organisers said the space will be arranged to make it easier for participants to join conversations and meet others in a relaxed beach setting.
Unplugged Cyprus said the event is not a networking or dating event and will not involve pressure to impress others.
