Nicosia, Cyprus. A fire that broke out in a vehicle in Nicosia in the early hours of Thursday caused extensive damage, police said.
Fire reported around 1.30am
Police said they were informed of the fire at around 1.30am. Firefighters arrived at the scene and put the fire out, but the vehicle suffered extensive damage.
Investigation and further examinations
Investigations found that fires had been set at the front and the rear of the vehicle. Police said further examinations are set to be carried out in due course.
