Nicosia, Cyprus. A 46-year-old woman who was shot by her husband on June 30 remains in critical condition at a private hospital, according to a police spokesperson. In a separate incident, a 38-year-old woman allegedly stabbed by her former husband on June 27 remains in stable condition at Nicosia general hospital.
Shooting incident
Police said the officer shot his 46-year-old wife, critically injuring her, before killing himself.
Stabbing incident
Police said the 38-year-old woman remains in stable condition following the alleged attack. Her 58-year-old mother, who was also allegedly attacked in the same incident, has been discharged from hospital.
Investigation
The police spokesperson said there were no new developments regarding the suspected perpetrator in the stabbing case, and the 35-year-old man remains wanted by authorities.
