YoungShip Cyprus elects new board for 2026–2028 term at Limassol annual meeting

Limassol, Cyprus. YoungShip Cyprus held its annual general meeting in early March, where members approved plans for the year ahead and elected a new board for the 2026–2028 term.


Meeting and approvals

The event took place at the Columbia Plaza Venue Centre, with secretary general Antria Dionysiou guiding attendees through the evening. In opening remarks, president Andreas Christoforou thanked guests, representatives of fellow organisations and YoungShip members for their backing, guidance and mentorship.

During the meeting, Georgia Evripidou presented the organisation’s activities for 2025 and the action plan for 2026, which were unanimously approved by members present. Financial statements and a proposed annual budget, presented by financial secretary Fotini Papachatzaki, were also unanimously approved.

Tributes and board elections

The organisation paid tribute to outgoing board members concluding their terms, including Christoforou, vice president Eliana Savvidi, Dionysiou and Papachatzaki.

Candidates for the new board were introduced, followed by what the organisation described as an exchange with the audience ahead of the vote.

New board for 2026–2028

Following the elections, YoungShip Cyprus named Tobias Kreppel as president for the 2026–2028 term. The new board also includes Lefteris Charalambous as vice president, Marvin Bielek as general secretary, Panayiotis Charalambous as assistant secretary, and Georgia Evripidou as financial secretary.

Also elected were Daniel Ellinas as programme development secretary, Naya Georgiou as press and media secretary, and Natalia Gregoriou as public relations secretary.
