Nicosia, Cyprus. Andreas Shiamishis, chief executive officer of HELLENiQ ENERGY, was ranked first in the Mid-Cap Oil & Gas category of Extel’s 2026 Emerging EMEA Executive Team survey.

The Group was also listed among the Most Honoured Companies in its category, while its Investor Relations team received top recognition.


Survey results

Extel, formerly Institutional Investor Research, has more than 55 years of experience evaluating listed companies. For this year’s survey, it collected votes from 454 professionals representing 247 investment firms.

The survey evaluated 401 companies and 603 senior executives across 11 sectors. Its criteria include management credibility, communication transparency, financial management and efficient capital allocation.

Shiamishis has been ranked among the top three executives in the sector for several years, according to the survey results.
