Limassol, Cyprus. BrainRocket has closed its offices and leased facilities in Limassol and offered most of its remaining employees in Cyprus relocation abroad, apparently ending the company’s main operation on the island.

Employees still working in Cyprus were instructed to work remotely until further notice, while most were offered packages to move to Spain or other countries where the company has offices.

Office closures

All BrainRocket offices and other leased facilities in Limassol were closed during the past month, including premises at at least two locations, according to information published by Politis on Tuesday.

The company’s signs have been removed from the buildings.

Relocation and remaining operations

A small number of employees may remain with businesses operating under the wider Soft2Bet group or with other companies connected to the same owner. However, BrainRocket’s main operation in Cyprus now appears to have closed.

The decision follows a withdrawal that began in the summer of 2025, when the company started transferring much of its business from Limassol to Valencia.

Previous restructuring

BrainRocket employed around 1,500 people in Cyprus at the time, with more than 1,000 employees understood to have been affected by the restructuring.

Hundreds of staff were offered relocation packages, mainly to Valencia, while a smaller part of the operation was expected to move to Malta, as reported last August.

Many foreign employees accepted the offers and left Cyprus. A significant number of those who remained found positions with other technology and foreign-exchange companies in Limassol, where demand for their skills remained strong.

Earlier reports

The prospect of BrainRocket leaving Cyprus appeared to recede later that month. Following contact between the company and President Nikos Christodoulides, reports suggested that BrainRocket would retain a sizeable operation on the island.
