Clear skies and temperatures up to 41C forecast inland

Nicosia, Cyprus. Mostly clear weather is forecast on Saturday, with temperatures expected to reach 41C inland and conditions remaining mainly clear through Tuesday.

Saturday forecast

Temperatures are expected to reach around 32C on the north, west and southwest coasts, 36C on the remaining coastal areas and 32C in the higher mountains.

Winds will initially be variable before becoming mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough.

Night conditions

The weather is expected to remain mostly clear overnight, with temperatures falling to around 24C inland and on the coast, and 19C in the higher mountains.

Winds will gradually turn mainly north-west to north-east and weaken to 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough.

Outlook

Mainly clear conditions are forecast for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, with no significant change in temperature expected.
