Petroleum products recorded the largest increase among the main economic categories, with prices rising by 20.31 per cent compared with August 2025 and by 6.88 per cent during the month.
Agricultural goods increased by 5.24 per cent annually and by 1.44 per cent from July.

For the first eight months of 2026, consumer prices were 2.08 per cent higher than in the corresponding period of 2025.
