Nicosia, Cyprus. The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has warned investors that nine online trading and crypto platforms are operating without the required regulatory approval.

The regulator said the websites are not linked to any entity authorised to provide investment services, conduct investment activities or offer crypto-asset services under Cyprus and EU law.

Unauthorised platforms

CySEC said the entities do not have the legal authorisation required under Article 5 of Law 87(I)/2017.

It also said the platforms are not authorised to provide crypto-asset services under Article 59 of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114.

The regulator’s warning includes amazon-forex.com, which claims to offer foreign exchange trading, as well as novatradecore.com and vall-fin.com.

Other websites named were daoroyal.com, seamanfx.com, newfuturevip.com and trademarketcup.com. The warning also covered the mobile application portal fxtrade.app.

CySEC additionally identified the linked addresses capitaldealhub.com/AI_app_es and digiteamagency.com/second-income/ as operating without authorisation.

Investor caution

CySEC urged investors to exercise extreme caution and verify the credentials of financial service providers before conducting transactions.
