Demetriou condemns parking in disabled space at parliament

Nicosia, Cyprus. House president Annita Demetriou on Tuesday condemned the driver of a vehicle that parked in a disabled space in parliament’s car park, preventing a person with a disability from using it.

She said she had been informed of the circumstances of the incident and unequivocally condemned what had happened.

Action ordered

Demetriou instructed the House’s general directorate to take all appropriate action to prevent a similar incident from happening again.
