Discover Airlines launches first Cyprus flights with services to Frankfurt and Munich

Larnaca, Cyprus. Hermes Airports announced the arrival of Discover Airlines at Larnaca Airport, marking the Lufthansa Group carrier’s first-ever operations to Cyprus. The airline has launched flights connecting Cyprus with Frankfurt and Munich.

New connections to German hubs

Hermes Airports said the flights provide passengers with more convenient travel options to and from Germany’s major cities. It added that, as part of the Lufthansa Group, passengers can access streamlined booking and connections through Frankfurt and Munich to global destinations.

Airline profile and aircraft

Hermes Airports said Discover Airlines is positioned as the group’s quality leisure airline, operating from Frankfurt and Munich with a fleet of more than 30 aircraft and serving over 60 leisure destinations worldwide. Flights to and from Larnaca Airport are operated using Airbus A320 aircraft with Economy Class and Business Class cabins.

Fares, baggage and onboard services

The airline’s fares and baggage policies are aligned with those of Lufthansa, Hermes Airports said. In Business Class, passengers are offered a guaranteed free middle seat, along with complimentary meals and beverages, according to the company. In Economy Class, complimentary water is provided, with snacks and drinks available for purchase through the onboard bar.

In-flight entertainment

Hermes Airports said free in-flight entertainment is available on personal devices via the Onboard Cloud platform.
