Friday to start mostly clear, with isolated showers expected on Sunday and Monday

Nicosia, Cyprus. Friday is expected to begin with largely clear skies across most of the island, with clouds gathering in the afternoon. Temperatures are forecast to reach 30 degrees Celsius inland and on the south and east coasts.

Friday temperatures and overnight outlook

Temperatures are expected to reach 28 degrees Celsius on the remaining coasts and 20 degrees Celsius in the mountains.

Skies will remain largely clear overnight. Temperatures are forecast to fall to 16 degrees Celsius inland, 18 degrees Celsius on the coast and 10 degrees Celsius in the mountains.

Forecast for Saturday to Monday

Saturday is expected to be largely clear. Sunday and Monday are forecast to bring isolated rain showers and possibly an occasional thunderstorm, mainly in the mountains, inland and in the north of the island.

Temperatures are expected to remain stable over the coming three days.
