Mostly clear Tuesday forecast with mountain rain and temperatures up to 39C

Nicosia, Cyprus. Tuesday is expected to be mostly clear across most of the island, with increased cloud cover and rain forecast in mountainous areas during the afternoon.

Tuesday forecast

Temperatures are expected to reach 39C inland, 32C on the west and southwest coasts, 35C on the remaining coastal areas, and 30C in the mountains.

Overnight conditions

Skies are expected to remain largely clear overnight, although low cloud may form along the coasts at times. Light fog and mist are forecast during the early hours of Wednesday.

Temperatures are expected to fall to 23C inland, 25C on the coasts, and 20C in the mountains.

Rest of the week

The weather is expected to remain largely unchanged for the rest of the week, with mostly clear skies, periods of cloud cover and mountain rain showers.

Temperatures are forecast to remain stable on Wednesday and Thursday before falling on Friday.
