The number of lifeguards on the beaches will be increased

The lifeguard service will be significantly improved.

The Tourist organizations Association of Cyprus has requested the government to extend the working season of the lifeguard service from March until November.

In the winter months some of the beaches of Cyprus must also be manned. Moreover, the government is requested to extend the working hours of the life guards in order to minimize the number on injuries and accidents on the beaches.
