Two men arrested after stolen vehicle and suspected stolen goods found, police say

Nicosia, Cyprus. Police said two men, aged 65 and 35, were arrested after officers found a stolen vehicle and items suspected to be stolen during a property search.

Search leads to arrests

Police said officers acted on information and searched a property belonging to the 65-year-old. A car reported stolen was located inside the premises, police said.

The 65-year-old was arrested at the scene for flagrant offences. Police said the 35-year-old was also arrested after being found during the search at the same property.

Items found

Police said officers found an electric bicycle, generators, batteries, cables, tree trimmers and other tools believed to be stolen.

Court appearance and remand

Police said both suspects were taken into custody and appeared before court. A five-day remand order was issued for the 65-year-old, while the 35-year-old was remanded for two days.
