University of Nicosia launches English-taught pharmacy master’s programme
The University of Nicosia will offer a five-year MPharm programme in English and Greek from the Fall 2026 academic intake.

Nicosia, Cyprus. The University of Nicosia on Friday announced the launch of an English-taught master’s programme in pharmacy at its main Nicosia campus for the upcoming academic year.
The five-year MPharm programme will be offered in both English and Greek, with applications open for the Fall 2026 intake.
Programme details
The programme includes practical training in eight dedicated pharmacy laboratories, designed to help students develop skills in medicinal chemistry, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical technology and drug research.
“The availability of the MPharm in English gives more prospective students the opportunity to study pharmacy in Cyprus without compromising on the language of instruction or the quality of their education,” said Christos Petrou, professor and head of the department of health sciences.
Applications
Petrou said the programme offers an option for Cypriots who may otherwise consider studying abroad, as well as international students living in Cyprus and those seeking an English-speaking European study destination.
Applications are subject to the University of Nicosia’s admissions requirements and procedures. Prospective candidates, parents, school academic counsellors and education consultants can obtain further information and apply through the university’s MPharm programme page.
