Woman arrested in Larnaca drug investigation after cocaine seizure

Larnaca, Cyprus. Police on Monday arrested a 34-year-old woman in connection with an ongoing investigation into a drug case uncovered in Larnaca in March. A 34-year-old man had previously been arrested in the same case.

Seized items

Police said the investigation concerns a seizure by the drug squad, Ykan, on March 25, 2026, of 359 grammes gross weight of cocaine, two grammes gross weight of cannabis resin, two precision scales, €1,115 in cash and two mobile phones.

Investigation continues

According to police, the man previously arrested was found in possession of the drugs and the other seized items. Evidence linking the woman to the case emerged during the investigation.

Ykan’s Larnaca unit is continuing its inquiries.
