Legends in the AIR – with DJ Pete Tong

The AIR beach club in Larnaca will host the “Legends in the AIR” party with the legendary DJ Pete Tong.
Pete Tong – is the British DJ, who is considered to be the Godfather of the house music. The biography of one of the most widely recognized DJs in the world is apparently the biography of the dance music as a whole. The signature parties of the DJ attract hundreds of fans across the globe.
Back in the 80’s Pete Tong started the popularization of the Chicago House, which was unknown in Europe. In 1986 he released his The House Sound of Chicago, Vol. 1, which was the first British release which presented the new genre from Chicago. In the beginning of the 90’s Pete became the host of the Essential Selection programme on the BBC Radio 1, which until today presents the best new hits of dance music to the listeners.
