An important visitor is expected in Cyprus

The assistant of the US Secretary of State Victoria Nuland is expected to arrive to Cyprus on Friday and she will remain on the island for the next few days.

Victoria Nuland stated on numerous occasions about the necessity of the “fair and firm” resolution of the Cyprus problem and her arrival is seen as the sign that the USA are preparing for the last stage of negotiations between the two communities of Cyprus.

The official Washington, however, denies any possibility of involvement of the US representative on the island.
