Summer in February

Meteorologists have reported that the February of 2016 was the warmest ever and one with the least precipitation.

Last month the temperatures were extremely high and on one of days, the temperature in Polis reached +28°C, whereas the mean temperature for this time of the year is +16,3°C.

Troodos also experienced unusually high temperatures. Usually the temperature in the mountains does not exceed + 4,1°C, however this year the temperature reached +18,9°С.
