Location of the hotels
The location of this group of hotels is particularly favourable: on the one hand, the city centre is not too far away (about 10 km to the Old Town and 5 km to the city centre); on the other hand, the central part of the tourist area is nearby, where most of the best restaurants and souvenir shops are located. As this area is not considered particularly upmarket, the prices in the cafés and restaurants here are slightly lower than, for example, in the Amatus district; however, this in no way affects the quality of the food or service.
For example, a good ‘English breakfast’ in the area costs around 4–5 euros. This price includes fried eggs, baked beans, bacon, toast with butter and jam, sausages, tomatoes and grilled mushrooms. Also worth noting is the recently opened Do Wine & Dine restaurant and wine bar, which offers unique breakfasts and Mediterranean dishes alongside an extensive wine list.
There are also numerous souvenir shops and ‘periptero’ kiosks in the area, where you can buy essentials (sun cream, newspapers, water, juices, alcoholic drinks, cigarettes, mobile SIM cards, souvenirs, etc.). There are also various aparthotel complexes in this area. From here, you can easily reach not only the city centre but also major supermarkets (Carrefour, Metro, Alfa Mega, Papas).
Hotel beaches
Of the hotels mentioned, only the 4* Poseidonia has its own beach, situated right on the seafront. The 3* Navarria hotels do not have their own beach. The coastline here stretches for about 1 km, and is approximately 15–20 m wide. The beaches are situated across the road from the hotels, about 150 m away.
In this area, the beaches are sandy and pebbly, with a gentle slope – pebbles right at the water’s edge, followed by sand. The beaches near the shore are equipped with sandbags, making it easier for both children and adults to enter the water.
Next to the beaches is a small town park where you can relax in the shade if you’ve had enough of the sun.
Features of the Navarria 3* Hotel
This hotel is one of the most popular hotels in its category in Limassol. The hotel has a small swimming pool, but there is usually enough space around it for all guests, even during the peak season.
The Navarria 3* offers a varied entertainment programme for guests: folk evenings featuring Cypriot dance and music, karaoke nights and evenings of Russian songs. Furthermore, Navarria is one of the few 3* hotels that operates on an ‘all-inclusive’ basis.
A slight inconvenience for guests during the summer months is the large number of wedding ceremonies and other celebratory events organised at the hotel. During these events in the afternoon, the swimming pool and surrounding area are closed to guests.
The hotel offers virtually no entertainment programme for children, and there are few children staying here even during the summer months, which often leads to them becoming bored. Holidaymakers planning to stay at the hotel with young children should also bear in mind that there is no designated area for pushchairs, and getting around the beach with a heavy pushchair can prove problematic.
Features of the Poseidonia 4* Hotel
The Poseidonia 4* is the only hotel within a 5 km stretch from the Four Seasons 5* to the Aquarius 3* that has its own private beach and provides guests with towels, parasols and sun loungers free of charge. In addition, the hotel grounds feature several swimming pools, including one for children.
The hotel offers good facilities for organising business training sessions, seminars and conferences and is popular amongst organisers of MICE events in Cyprus.

Among the hotel’s drawbacks are the limited variety of dining options and the lack of an entertainment programme for both adults and children. However, despite the absence of an entertainment programme, children won’t get bored thanks to the significant number of guests travelling with children at the hotel.
Key strengths and weaknesses of the hotel group
So, the undoubted advantages of this hotel group include its close proximity to the beach, good value for money and its short distance from Limassol’s entertainment centres — for example, the famous Guaba beach bar, which is situated about 2 km from the hotels.
Among the disadvantages of the hotels, it is worth noting the somewhat outdated facilities in the rooms, a lack of variety in the food, the large number of festive events during the summer months – which may disturb some guests – and the absence of a full-fledged entertainment programme.
