Nicosia, Cyprus. The American Chamber of Commerce in Cyprus (AmCham Cyprus) participated in the 10th Cyprus Professional Services Conference at the Hilton Nicosia Hotel on Tuesday, moderating a panel discussion on the US market.
Panel on US client expectations
The session, titled “The USA Market High-Value Clients & High-Trust Expectations,” examined how Cyprus can strengthen its position as a trusted gateway for American investors and multinational businesses. In an announcement, the chamber said the discussion addressed how Cyprus can further build its role for American investors, innovators, and multinational enterprises.
Focus areas and opportunities for Cyprus
According to the chamber, participants explored the evolving expectations of US clients, the structures and services they value most, and opportunities for Cyprus in international tax, cross-border transactions, IP, technology, and corporate relocation. The panel also addressed the evolving needs of US stakeholders and the types of structures and services they increasingly prioritise when engaging with international partners.

The panel featured George Constantinides, FCA Partner in International Tax Services at PwC Cyprus; Petros Krasaris, Partner in International Tax and Transaction Services and US Geography Leader at EY Cyprus; and Gerasimos Ntouskas, Board Member in Technology Consulting at KPMG Cyprus. Speakers highlighted opportunities for Cyprus to expand its role in cross-border transactions and global business services, and their remarks underlined the competitiveness of Cyprus’ professional services ecosystem in attracting international business.

The discussion stressed that trust, compliance, substance and innovation remain essential when working with high-value US clients. The chamber said the discussion reinforced the need for continued collaboration among professional services firms, institutions, and policymakers to ensure Cyprus remains a credible, resilient, and future-ready international business hub.
