Appointment of the new Ambassador of Georgia to Cyprus

The President of Georgia Mr. Giorgi Margvelashvili has signed the decree to appoint Mr. Revaz Lominadze as the Ambassador of Georgia in Cyprus. During their meeting, Mr. Giorgi Margvelashvili and Mr.

Revaz Lominadze discussed the relations between Georgia and Cyprus and the prospects of development. The President wished the new Ambassador every success in his new work.

The Diplomatic relations between Cyprus and Georgia were established in 1992. The Embassy of Georgia in Cyprus was opened in 2005.
