Charlie Airlines will use the logo of Cyprus Airways

The new Cypriot company Charlie Airlines will have the right to use the logo of the dissolved Cyprus Airways. The company has paid 2,040,000 Euros to acquire that right.

The duration of the agreement is 10 years and is applicable only to the flights flying to or from Cyprus.

Charlie Airlines is the subsidiary company of S7, which was created few months ago.

The company plans to include flights to Russia, U.K. and Greece. The flights will be done using Airbus A-319 of S7 airlines and are expected to commence before the end of the year.
